How to be a good restaurant supervisor?

Well you need to know all aspects of the restaurant business, you need to have good knowledge of how the food is prepared, how it is served, if you done all these jobs before then you will be a good supervisor and you will understand and know how to delegate jobs and make sure it is done the proper way. All the best.




Make sure employees work efficiently and that they don't walk around empty handed. Be a good colleague / boss , don't micromanage. Keep an eye on everything and nip things in the butt when they occur. Do not spend too much time talking to customers, in the end they're there for the food, not for you. Be courteous, but efficient.




I would suggest renting the movie "Waiting" its funny and it might give you some dos and donts of the restaurant world.
